James is an accomplished, competition-winning magician, who, has numerous successful performances behind him. Be it for corporate or private functions, James Hanrahan is the magician who can provide a magic show of between 20 and 45 minutes.  And he can perform in most venues.

Whatever your function James Hanrahan will amaze you and your guests with a magical mixture of Cabaret magic including: card magic, coin magic, rope tricks and his own brand of telepathy, mind-reading and traditional magic.  Entertainment of the audience is his goal and your guests will have a great evening.  James especially enjoys close-up magic.

James is a member of the prestigious Magic Circle.

The Magic Circle is recognised as the premier magical society and now has a growing membership of around 1,500 members spread across many countries of the world. These members are dedicated to promoting and advancing the art of magic, an entertainment which is universally enjoyed and today is more popular than ever.

James is also a member of Equity
Equity is the only Trade Union to represent artists from across the entire spectrum of arts and entertainment. Formed in 1930 by a group of West End of London performers, Equity quickly spread to encompass the whole range of professional entertainment so our membership includes actors, singers, dancers, choreographers, stage managers, theatre directors and designers and circus artists, television and radio presenters, walk-on and supporting artists, stunt performers
and directors and theatre fight directors.

The IBM is the world's largest organization for magicians boasting nearly15,000 members worldwide. With over 300 local groups, called Rings, in more than 73 countries, the IBM is considered to be the most respected organization for amateur and professional magicians in the world!
